NAUTINORT'S PARTICIPATION AT THE PALMA BOAT SHOW 2023

Once again, we return from the Palma International Boat Show after presenting some of the most impressive boats from ZAR Formenti, ZAR Mini and Interboat, as well as exhibiting for the first time in Spain the innovative Sterk Yachts brand.

There have been four days of the exhibition, which more than 32,000 visitors have passed through, and we have shared space with approximately 271 exhibitors who have presented their innovations in the nautical sector. All this, thanks to the organisation of this boat show, formed by the Vice-Presidency and Ministry of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory, through the Institute for Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA). The success of the event, promoted by the Palma City Council through the Palma 365 Tourism Foundation, has positioned the Palma Boat Show as one of the most internationally recognised boat shows.

In this new edition, under the slogan "Palma, the nautical city par excellence", we were lucky to kick off the Mediterranean nautical season in the Moll Vell. Close to La Lonja and the centre of Palma, we could enjoy a different image of the cathedral, the port and the yachts.

It should be noted that one of the outstanding features of the event was the commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. A separation and recycling service was implemented for all the waste generated during the event days, with the company Adalmo in charge of installing the selective green collection points.

On the other hand, this nautical fair was attended by more than 600 boats, of which around 250 were at sea. The trends in recreational boats were presented, a space was dedicated to superyachts, and the advances in electric models were shown.

In addition, thanks to the large influx of professionals and sailing enthusiasts, this meeting became the nerve centre of professional sailing, as it does every year. There was a considerable increase in the number of international shipyards exhibiting directly at the show, hosting worldwide presentations of new products from a strategic industry for our islands' economy.

For all these reasons, it is unsurprising that we had the luxury of participating in PIBS 2023, as we have been doing for 28 years. However, this edition was undoubtedly one of the most special, and we have returned with exciting news to share!

Nautinort brands at the Palma Boat Show

Some of the favourite boats at the Palma International Boat Show were the latest models of tenders and dayboats of medium-high length; and the transportable semi-rigid vessels of medium-small length, by the latest trends in the nautical sector.

Nautinort, as the official dealer of the Italian brand ZAR, was able to explain to all those who came to our stand the advantages of seaworthiness, comfort and construction quality of the Italian semi-rigid Zar Formenti and the ZAR Mini line of inflatable boats. More than one was amazed by these boats' ample storage space for equipment and accessories. They also had the opportunity to get a first-hand look at the ZAR 79 Sport Luxury, ZAR 65 Suite Classic Luxury, ZAR 59 Sport Luxury, ZAR Mini 13 DL and ZAR Mini Lux Rider 16, all of which are made of high-quality materials, a smooth and stable ride at sea.

On the other hand, the Dutch Interboat line of boats stood out among those looking for a boat for the Mediterranean lifestyle and day boating. From minute one, the elegant and functional design of our Interboat Intender 820 and Interboat Intender 950 models caught their attention. Our team had the pleasure of meeting them and detailing all their features, such as the long life of their materials, engines and navigation systems that guarantee exceptional performance on the water.

Official presentation of Sterk Yachts and its sea trials in Spain

One of the most exciting moments experienced by Nautinort at the PIBS 2023 was the Sterk 31 RC model exhibition. Its Mediterranean-inspired design, state-of-the-art technology, and perfect functionality impressed all attendees.

On Friday 28th, at 17:00, we made its official presentation in Spain for the press and enjoyed the music and delicious snacks!

At Nautinort, we are pleased about integrating this new powerboat of the Sterk Yachts, the fruit of the collaboration between the boat manufacturer Milan Sterk, the designer Carlos Vidal and the naval architect Sasha Vlad. There is no doubt that this is a lasting masterpiece, thanks to cleanliness, high precision and meticulous quality controls.

It piqued the interest of explorers and adventurers. The rear cabin features a large hammock with a cosy, well-equipped sleeping cabin, plus a modular foredeck with an ensuite bathroom—all this to offer high-quality comfort for overnight trips.

Additionally, her sea trials will take place on the 4th, 5th and 6th of May for Spanish and international journalists in Alcudia Mar. This a unique opportunity for them to experience the boat's performance at sea and evaluate its spectacular features and superb performance.>
