Cala Formentor (3) or Cala Pi de la Posada is an inlet, inside which is located Cala Gentil, Platja de Formentor, the famous homonymous hotel and opposite its coast Illa de Formentor. This sandy beach of long and narrow width is made of fine-grained sand and bright white. The lush and dense pine and oak forest of the Formentor peninsula surrounds this beach. The branches of the trees almost touch the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean that bathes this dreamy coast paradise. Sea and underwater conditions are optimal for anchoring boats. Cala en Feliu (4) is a virgin and solitary incoming "U" shaped sea that runs about two hectares inland, dying on a beach product of a torrent that empties into this cove and the marine currents. Stones and boulders make up the substrate of this small paradisiacal beach, flanked by wild rocks and high cliffs that rush towards a transparent water. Sea and underwater conditions are optimal for anchoring boats.
